Is the English language your absolute passion? Do you want to improve your English language skills? Or do you want to specialise yourself in Business English? Do you want to be one step ahead of the rest when applying for your future job or internship? Are you motivated to go the extra mile next to your current course? How about taking part in the Cambridge English excellence programme?
We offer you the fantastic chance to upgrade your English language skills at our Cambridge preparation centres Groningen or Hoogeveen. We offer programmes for all students who follow a course (level 2, 3 and 4), and who do not have any study backlogs. An obligatory screening is part of the selection procedure.
Proud students with their certificate Cambridge English, Hoogeveen 2019
For generic English there are two levels to choose from; B2 First or C1 Advanced. The programme requires four hours of your time a week; two hours for lessons and two for self-study. Within approximately 32 weeks we prepare you for the official Cambridge exam which will take place at an official British Council exam centre. The exams focus on the following skills: reading, use of English, listening, speaking and writing.
Aside from a generic course, in Groningen we also offer Business English. Business English takes the same investment; four hours per week in total for a period of around 32 weeks until the exams. You will learn to show employers that you are ready to work successfully in international business. This exam could help you when applying for new jobs, getting a promotion, or developing your career.
Exam costs for the Cambridge B2 First and C1 advanced programs are around € 300 but your school pays half of this price when you have attended more than 85% of the lessons, did your homework and attended the exams. The certificate you receive afterwards is acknowledged worldwide by thousands of universities and (international) companies.
